E-Learning Foundry Launches its First Web-Based Training Course

New course raises the Macintosh web-based training standard

Guelph, Ontario, Canada October 30, 2002

The E-learning Foundry released its first course, Introduction to OS X, today. It will sell for $30 (US) and can be purchased at the company web site (http://www.e-learningfoundry.com).

Created by instructional designers, technical writers, and Flash developers, Introduction to OS X promises a rich online learning experience. Demonstrations, simulations, interactivity, and testing were combined to create the web-based training course.

“We wanted to move beyond the streaming Quicktime video method of web-based training,” said founder and president Stephen Van Esch. “Effective web-based training should combine elements of demonstration, hands-on practice, interactivity, and testing.”

The E-learning Foundry aims to become the leading provider of web-based training courses for Macintosh products. The company’s head office is located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
